In the news: South Yarra train station excluded from Melbourne Metro Rail Project

Commuters using South Yarra train station say they are frustrated the station won’t be part of Melbourne’s new underground rail network - despite the fact that project works are set to disrupt the nearby area.

And the construction of the new rail lines will impact significantly on some Stonnington households and businesses, the State Government has warned.
