SIGN THE: PRAHRAN HOUSING GUARANTEE

Our housing system is cooked.

Here in Prahran,  people are being locked out of buying a home and are living in insecure rentals for longer.

The pandemic has pushed more people into housing insecurity, the public housing waiting list has blown out and homelessness continues to grow.

It’s just not fair. Governments have the power to ensure housing is affordable, accessible and renters are protected.

Let’s come together and demand that the government provides safe, secure, affordable homes for everyone in our community.

The Prahran Housing Guarantee will:

  • End homelessness by building more public housing homes
  • Protect renters with controls on rents and secure leases
  • Improve housing affordability through a fairer tax system

Question without Notice: Phase out coal

Mr HIBBINS (Prahran): My question is to the Premier. Premier, why doesn’t the government have a clear, transparent time line...
